    Buckingham Palace

    The King laid a wreath at the Cenotaph this morning on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

    A wreath was laid on behalf of The Queen Consort by Captain Edward Andersen.

    Wreaths were also laid by The Prince of Wales, The Earl of Wessex and The Princess Royal.

    A wreath was laid on behalf of The Duke of Kent by Captain Charles Longstaff.

    The Queen Consort, The Princess of Wales, The Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were present during the Ceremony.

    The Earl of Wessex afterwards took the salute at the March Past of Ex-Servicemen and Civilian Organisations on Horse Guards Parade, London SW1.

    The King and The Queen Consort were present this evening at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

    The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were also present.

    The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this morning attended the Armistice Day Service at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, and, having been received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr. Ian Dudson), afterwards planted a tree for The Queen's Green Canopy.

    The King this afternoon gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Arrival of British Ugandan Asians to the United Kingdom.

    The King and The Queen Consort this evening gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace for Medallists at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

    The Earl of Wessex, The Princess Royal and The Duke of Gloucester were present.

    The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon officially opened the Vertical Farm, Heritage Trail and Centenary Bridge at Reaseheath College, Nantwich, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond).

    His Royal Highness afterwards presented The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service to South Cheshire Amateur Boxing Club at the Cheshire Constabulary Headquarters, Clemonds Hey, Oakmere Road, Winsford.

    The Duke of Gloucester later visited Cheshire Military Museum, the Castle, Chester.
