    The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

    The Queen was represented by the Very Reverend Professor David Fergusson (Dean of the Chapel Royal in Scotland) at the Funeral of the Reverend George Cowie (Chaplain to The Queen in Scotland) which was held in New Kilpatrick Church, Bearsden, Glasgow, today.

    Today being the Feast of the Epiphany, Choral Matins was held in The Queen's Chapel, St. James's Palace, when the customary offerings of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh were made on behalf of The Queen by Lieutenant Colonel Sir Alexander Matheson of Matheson, Bt. and Captain David Lilley, RN (Gentlemen Ushers to Her Majesty).

    The Bishop of London (Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) was the Celebrant and presented the Offerings, assisted by the Reverend Canon Paul Wright (Sub-Dean of Her Majesty's Chapels Royal) and the Reverend Richard Bolton and the Reverend William Whitcombe (Priests in Ordinary).

    The Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard was on duty in the Chapel.

    The Sultan of Oman and Her Highness the Hon. Lady visited The Queen today.

    Her Majesty held a Council via video link at 2.30 p.m..

    There were present: the Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Nadine Dorries MP (Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport), the Rt. Hon. Sajid Javid MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care) and the Rt. Hon. Grant Shapps MP (Secretary of State for Transport).

    The Rt. Hon. Nigel Adams MP, the Rt. Hon. Dorothy Bain, the Rt. Hon. Simon Clarke MP and the Rt. Hon. Robert Stewart MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

    Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

    The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

    The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

    His Excellency Mr. Elin Suleymanov was received in audience by The Queen via video link today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. Lala Abdurahimova was also received by Her Majesty.

    Her Excellency Mrs. Mikaela Kumlin Granit was received in audience by The Queen via video link this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Sweden to the Court of St. James's.

    Mr. Jakob Granit was also received by Her Majesty.

    Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

    The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

    Mrs. Jennifer Tolhurst (Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport this morning upon the Arrival of The Sultan of Oman and welcomed His Majesty on behalf of The Queen.
