His Excellency Mr. Khaled Al-Duwaisan and Mrs. Al-Duwaisan were received in farewell audience by The Queen today via video link and took leave upon His Excellency relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the State of Kuwait to the Court of St. James's and upon retiring as Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, when Her Majesty presented him with the Insignia of an Honorary Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George.
Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.
Her Excellency Ms. Jane Hartley was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the United States of America to the Court of St. James's.
Mr. Ralph Schlosstein was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.
Lady Acland was received by The Queen and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by her husband, the late Sir Antony Acland.
Mr. Nicholas Acland and Mrs. Katharine Weston were also received by Her Majesty.
Admiral Sir James Perowne was received by The Queen and took leave upon relinquishing his appointment as Constable and Governor, Windsor Castle, when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.
Lady Perowne was also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen held a Council via video link at 2.30 p.m..
There were present: the Rt. Hon. Mark Spencer MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Gregory Clark MP (Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities), the Baroness Evans of Bowes Park (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal) and the Rt. Hon. Alister Jack MP (Secretary of State for Scotland).
The Rt. Hon. Andrew Stephenson MP was sworn in as a member of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.
Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal, this morning visited Thames Hospice, Windsor Road, Maidenhead, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr. James Puxley), the Chairman of the Trustees (Mr. Jonathan Jones) and Mrs. Deborah Raven (Chief Executive).
Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness, escorted respectively by the Chairman of the Trustees and the Chief Executive, met members of staff, volunteers, trustees and patients before The Queen officially opened the new Hospice.
The Princess Royal afterwards toured the Hospice, meeting more members of staff and patients.

The Queen received the Bishop of Rochester (the Right Reverend Dr. Jonathan Gibbs) today via video link who did homage upon his appointment.
Her Majesty also received the Bishop of Bath and Wells (the Right Reverend Michael Beasley) via video link who did homage upon his appointment.
The Bishop of Carlisle (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance and administered the Oaths.
The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
Afterwards Captain Krishnaprasad Loksam, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, and Captain Suren Limbu, Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support, (The Queen's Gurkha Orderly Officers) were received by Her Royal Highness who, on behalf of Her Majesty, invested them with the Insignia of Members of the Royal Victorian Order.
Colonel David Robinson (Colonel, Brigade of Gurkhas) was present.
By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Erlan Idrissov at Kazakhstan House, 125 Pall Mall, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Court of St. James's.

The Lord Janvrin was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Secretary and Registrar of the Order of Merit when Her Majesty handed him the Badge and Chain of Office.
The Queen, Duke of Lancaster this afternoon received Sir Alan Reid (Chairman of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster) and Mr. Nathan Thompson (Chief Executive Officer).
The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.
