    The Rt. Hon. Jacinda Ardern MP (Prime Minister of New Zealand) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this morning.

    By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Alexandre Fasel at 21 Bryanston Square, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Swiss Confederation to the Court of St. James's.

    His Excellency Mr. Maxim Yermalovich was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Belarus to the Court of St. James's.

    His Excellency Mr. Karel van Oosterom was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Court of St. James's.

    Mrs. van Oosterom-Niessen was also received by The Queen.

    Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

    The Queen drove to the Sovereign's Entrance of the Palace of Westminster this morning to open the Session of Parliament.

    Her Majesty was received upon arrival by the Marquess of Cholmondeley (Lord Great Chamberlain), the Duke of Norfolk (Earl Marshal) and Ms. Sarah Clarke (Lady Usher of the Black Rod).

    The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were present.

    The Imperial State Crown, the Cap of Maintenance and the Sword of State were conveyed previously to the House of Lords.

    The Queen, Patron, Royal Life Saving Society, this afternoon received Dr. Stephen Beerman (Honorary Commonwealth Vice President, Royal Life Saving Society, and Past President, Lifesaving Society Canada) via video link when Her Majesty presented him with the King Edward VII Cup.

    Mr. Clive Holland (Deputy Commonwealth President) was present.

    The Queen received the Bishop of Chester (the Right Reverend Mark Tanner) today via video link who did homage upon his appointment.

    Her Majesty received the Bishop of Chelmsford (the Right Reverend Dr. Gulnar Francis-Dehqani) via video link who did homage upon his appointment.

    The Rt. Hon. Robert Buckland MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice) administered the Oaths.

    The Bishop of Carlisle (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance.

    The Queen held a Council via video link at 2.30 p.m..

    There were present: the Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Robert Jenrick MP (Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government), the Rt. Hon. Priti Patel MP (Secretary of State for the Home Department) and the Rt. Hon. Gavin Williamson MP (Secretary of State for Education).

    The Rt. Hon. Dame Sue Carr, the Rt. Hon. Sir Clive Lewis, the Rt. Hon. Sir Christopher Nugee, the Lord Pentland and the Lord Woolman were sworn in as members of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

    Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
