    The Duke of Cambridge this morning arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport and was received by Her Majesty's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (His Excellency Mr. Patrick Moody).

    The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, paid his Condolences to The President of the United Arab Emirates following the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

    His Royal Highness this evening arrived in the United Kingdom from the United Arab Emirates.

    Mr. Jean-Christophe Gray was in attendance.

    The Duke of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this morning visited the Heart of Midlothian Football Club, Tynecastle Park, McLeod Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Mr. Kingsley Thomas (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).

    The Duke of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, Action for Children, this morning visited St. John's Primary School, Mary Street, Port Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Colonel Peter McCarthy)

    Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Wheatley Group, Kennishead Avenue, Thornliebank, Glasgow, and were received by Mr. John McLeod (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

    The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge subsequently visited the University of Glasgow.

    Windsor Castle

    The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Cambridge, acting in their capacity as Counsellors of State for The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, travelled to the Palace of Westminster this morning to open the Session of Parliament and were received at the Sovereign's Entrance by the Marquess of Cholmondeley (Lord Great Chamberlain) and the Duke of Norfolk (Earl Marshal).

    The Queen's Guard was found by 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, under the command of Major Henry Greeves, and a Guard of Honour was mounted at the Palace of Westminster by 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards with The State Colour, under the command of Major Robert Philp.

    A staircase party of The Household Cavalry was on duty at Victoria Tower, House of Lords, under the command of Captain Mark Quickfield.

    Royal Salutes were fired in Hyde Park by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Captain Amy Cooper, and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Adam Bate.

    The Imperial State Crown, the Cap of Maintenance and the Sword of State were conveyed previously to the House of Lords.

    Her Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms was on duty in the Prince's Chamber and the Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard was on duty in the Royal Gallery.

    The Ladies and Gentlemen of the Household were in attendance at the Palace of Westminster.
