Prince Harry visits a local boxing club in south east London as he begins to support Sport for Social Development initiatives.

Prince Harry's visit to Double Jab Boxing Club is the first of a series of engagements and meetings that focus on using the power of sport to help vulnerable young people and communities.
Community support groups play a vital role in using the power of sport to improve the life changes of disadvantaged young people; Prince Harry will support charities working in this sector, including Sported, which offers free expert mentoring advice to community sports clubs.
Double Jab has proved to be a powerful force for change in the community, promoting a diverse and inclusive membership scheme. Their coaching goes beyond boxing, offering education and employability skills support sessions and linking young people to local businesses.
As a member and beneficiary of Sported, Double Jab Amateur Boxing Club also receives free business mentoring from one of Sported's expert volunteers, in order to help safeguard the club's long-term future. During the visit, Prince Harry was given an insight into the challenges facing many community sport clubs similar to Double Jab Boxing Club.
Many are often under-funded and need support and expertise in operational areas vital to their long-term sustainability, such as business planning and financial advice. Prince Harry will have a number of other visits and meetings on this topic - both public and private - in the coming months.
