Timings and processional route announced

Prince Harry and Ms. Markle have confirmed some of the details of their wedding day, including the route of their carriage procession and timings of the day's events

In a statement issued by Kensington Palace, the couple announced that their wedding service will begin at St George's Chapel at midday and will be conducted by the Dean of Windsor, The Rt Revd. David Conner. The Most Revd. and Rt Hon. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, will officiate as the couple make their marriage vows.

At 1pm, following the service, the couple will travel around Windsor in a horse-drawn carriage, providing an opportunity for members of the public to see them and join in with the celebrations. Their carriage will leave Windsor Castle via Castle Hill and process along the High Street and through Windsor Town, returning to Windsor Castle via the Long Walk.

At the castle, there will be a reception in St George's Hall for the couple and guests from the congregation and that evening, The Prince of Wales will give a private evening reception for close friends and family.
